Ruth has been self-employed as a website developer since 1995, while also serving as a website technologies instructor. She has held leadership roles in various professional associations, including as President of the Mid-Atlantic Book Publishers Association and founder of the Baltimore County Progressive Democratic Club. Ruth has consistently demonstrated leadership in public service, currently serving as Deputy Majority Whip and on multiple legislative committees focused on the environment and transportation.
