Sara Novak graduated from Butte High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education and a Master of Education in counseling. She spent nearly two decades as a special education teacher before transitioning to public service. She was elected to the Montana House of Representatives and, most recently, to the Montana Senate for the 36th district.
