Nik Rettinger holds a bachelor's degree in history and political science and government from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he previously earned an associate's degree. He gained leadership experience as the president of the student government at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee at Waukesha. Rettinger's professional journey includes significant roles in state government, such as serving as a legislative assistant and research assistant in the Wisconsin State Assembly. He also held the position of chief of staff for a state senator. Rettinger co-founded Campaign Tutors and successfully ran for the 83rd Assembly district, winning both the primary and general elections.
