Marie Pinkney holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Norfolk State University and a master’s degree in social work from Delaware State University. She has extensive experience in social work, having managed cases at a treatment center for adolescents with mental health and substance abuse issues and serving as a foster mother. Pinkney worked as a social worker/case manager at ChristianaCare until 2024 and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Africana Studies from the University of Delaware.
