Personal Background
Marcus Richmond retired from the United States Marine Corps as a lieutenant colonel and subsequently coached football at the Hargrave Military Academy. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education from Arkansas Tech University. Richmond has spent over a decade in the Arkansas House of Representatives, currently serving his sixth term for District 52. He is the House Chair for the Joint Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs and a member of several other committees focused on public transportation, agriculture, forestry, economic development, and budget management. Richmond is also the President/CEO of America’s Pet Registry Inc.
