He began his career in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he served for nearly two decades, culminating in his role as Chief of the Special Litigation Division. Curran has also held significant public service roles, including serving on the DuPage County Board and representing the 41st District in the Illinois Senate. His professional experience includes work as an attorney at a private law firm. Curran was elected as the Illinois Senate Minority Leader in November 2022.
