He has spent years in public service, including co-founding the Noel Betterment Association and serving in the Missouri House of Representatives since 2019. Deaton has held key leadership roles in the House Budget Committee and has chaired the Subcommittee on Appropriations for Health, Mental Health, and Social Services. He currently serves as the Chairman of the House Budget Committee and is also a trustee for the Missouri State Employees’ Retirement System and the Children’s Trust Fund.
