Desiree Tims holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University. She began her career in public service by volunteering for the Obama-Biden presidential campaign and later interned at the White House. Tims has held various roles in the public and non-profit sectors, including serving as an aide to U.S. Senators and President of the Senate Black Legislative Staff Caucus. Currently, she is the President & CEO of Innovation Ohio and a State Representative in the Ohio House of Representatives.
