Brian Pfarr spent over three decades in the Minnesota Army National Guard, retiring as a colonel and earning the Bronze Star Medal. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and a Master of Science in education. Pfarr has been the president of the Minnesota branch of First Farmers & Merchants Bank since 2005. Before this, he taught farm business management at South Central College. Pfarr has also been active in local governance, serving on various committees and boards, including the Le Sueur Economic and Development Authority Committee and the Le Sueur-Henderson School Board.
